Archi version 5.9 is now available to download.
New features, improvements and fixes are listed in the Version History.
Here’s a summary of some of the new features in Archi 5.9.
Invert Connection Direction
This feature is available when right-clicking a relationship in a View. If allowed by ArchiMate’s relationship rules all selected relationships’ source and target ends are inverted, or reversed. This is applied to all instances of the selected relationship(s) in all Views.
New Model Tree alphanumeric sort algorithm
A new algorithm has been contributed for the alphanumeric sorting mode that handles sorts labels (1, 2, 3, 10 rather than 1, 10, 2, 3) in the Models Tree. This option can be turned on in Archi’s preferences.
Open Exchange Format now imports and exports Specialization names
Concept Specialization names are now imported and exported in the Open Exchange Format. Here’s an example of how this looks in XML:
<element identifier="id-e0a2789f560048dca58d20c9bd2bb21b" xsi:type="Capability">
<name xml:lang="en">Capability</name>
<properties>
<property propertyDefinitionRef="specialization">
<value>My Capability Specialization</value>
</property>
</properties>
</element>
...
<propertyDefinition identifier="specialization" type="string">
<name>Specialization</name>
</propertyDefinition>
