Adding a Legend
A legend can be included in an ArchiMate View to show all icons and names of the concepts within it. This legend automatically updates whenever concepts are added or removed from the View.
A legend is added from an ArchiMate View's Palette:

Some important points about legends:
- You can set the default name for each concept displayed in a legend in Preferences.
- A legend's properties can be set in the Properties Window.
- A legend can be set to its optimal size by selecting "Default Size" from the toolbar or main "View->Position" menu item. See Alignment Tools, Guides and the Grid.
- A legend figure is actually a Note figure re-purposed as a legend figure. This means that it will appear as a blank note when opened in older versions of Archi that don't support legends. In this case, the name of the note will be "Legend".
